Room 228 Classroom Rules:

Together at the beginning of the year these are the rules and systems we have decided to put in place to keep our classroom a safe and positive learning community. This is what we came up with.

1. Respect others ideas, bodies and property.

2. Always practice HAFTY (hands and feet to yourself)

3. No bullying.
As we said in class bullying includes name calling, saying or writing nasty things about someone, leaving them out of activities, not talking to them, threatening them, making them feel uncomfortable or scared, taking or damaging their things, hitting or kicking them, or making them do things   they don't want to do.

4. Do not leave the classroom without informing the teacher or adult in charge, and bring hall/bathroom pass with you.

GO! SLOW! WHOA!

In our classroom we follow the Go, Slow, Whoa system. There is a chart on a wall in the classroom with Green for Go, Yellow for Slow, and Red for Whoa. Students have a clip with their name on it and the goal of each day is to stay in the Go area! However the Slow area serves as a warning for the student, and the Whoa area is where the punishments we have agreed upon as a class come into play.

I want to see everyone in GO! and we all know the rules so lets work together to keep our classroom in gear!

Helpful Tips for 3 Ways of Interacting:
